NEW WORKING COMMITTEE OF RSPP BHAKTAPUR

            Bhaktapur, March 30: Bhaktapur District convention of the Rastriya Shakti Prajatantra Party (RSPP) has today elected a 17-member new working committee under the chairmanship of Surendra Pratap Shah.

            The election concluded this morning elected Chandan Krishna Shrestha, Surendra KC, Krishna Bahadur Mahat, Ram Bhakta Pakka, Sanu Prasad Ban, Nar Bahadur Thapa, Shankar Lamichhane, Jay Bahadur Karki, Kuber Khatri, Ratnaman Chandyo, Manakram Thapa, Bidur Khadka, Rudra Bahadur Khadka, Nar Govinda Shankhadev, Rameshwor Thapa and Laba Kumar Karki as members of the working committee.

             In the election held for the post of chairman, Shah got 46 votes whereas his rival, Uttam Giri, received 19 votes.

            The convention was held for the first time after unification of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Rastriya Janashakti Party.
