fsu election schedule to come out soon

            Kirtipur, March 30: The Tribhuvan University (TU) has made preparations to announce programmes of election of Free Students' Unions within a few days.

            The TU has been making preparations to make public the election programmes to be held in third week of May after the latest discussions with student unions on electoral system.

            According to Chief of TU Students' Welfare Branch, Ganga Bahadur Thapa, an agreement was made for mixed electoral system that would be acceptable to all the student unions, from the latest discussion.

            Preparation is going on to make public the programmes within a few days, he added. The election which had to be held last year, could not be held so far after no consensus was forged on electoral system for election of the student unions.
