Rasuwa Youth Clinches Title in Redpanda Volleyball Tournament

Dhunche (Rasuwa), April 20: Rasuwa Conservation and Cultural Youth Group on Thursday clinched the title of Redpanda Trophy Volleyball Tournament organized with a view to spreading public awareness towards conserving endangered Red Panda.

            In the tournament jointly organized by Langtang Area Conservation Concern Society and Langtang Area Conservation Eco Club, Rasuwa, Menjew Paramindo Youth Club Sole and Lakos Sanstha won the second and third title, respectively, confirmed the organizers.

            Haku Group received consolation award of the tournament participated in by 11 groups.

            The first, second and third winners got Rs, 12,000, Rs. 9,000 and Rs. 6,000 in cash along with trophy and shield, respectively.

            The tournament is expected to increase concern of all the sectors towards making publicity and conservation of Red Panda in high altitude of Rasuwa district, said the Langtang National Park.
