Disqualified fighters feel disgraced

ITAHARI: The central struggle committee of the discharged fighters of the People's Liberation Army Nepal (PLA) has demanded clarification from the government why it dubbed the ex-PLA fighters disqualified.

Terming the ex-PLA combatants as disqualified by the government had disgraced them in society, the struggle committee said, warning of taking arms again if they were not respected in community.

Central member of the struggle committee, Chaitanya Rai here said the government must provide them economic help and opportunities.
